Candyce Grisham is a fiber artist with a traditional, self-taught quilting background. Her fiber journey has led her to focus on using interesting colors, fabrics and themes from other cultures and nature. Using textiles and stitch allows her to have endless tactile expression with vibrant and comforting colors and endless variety. Much of her work has a “tradition with a twist” quality and relies on inspirations from generations gone by. She uses fabric as her medium to explore design and view the world around us.
Candy has been in juried shows with her fiber art and quilts through the Missouri Fiber Artists, the American Quilter’s Society in Kentucky, the International Quilt Association in Houston and the National Quilt Association in Ohio, as well as many local and regional shows and displays.
